Stereo Clipper clips input signal at threshold level. Can be used alone or together with a compressor or limiter to make your records louder.

I have used SIR Audio Tools StandardCLIP VST plugin and found it very useful. https://www.siraudiotools.com/StandardCLIP.php

So I decided to make something similar in hardware.

I made L-1 Stereo Clipper module. It clips input signal at threshold level.

Threshold Corse/Fine knobs set threshold level.
Clip Positive/Negative knobs adjust clipping from Hard (full CCW) to different grades of Soft. Separately for positive and negatigve halves of the signal. So non-symmetrical clipping is possible.
Input Gain/Output Gain knobs set input and output gain in range from x1 to x6 exponential curve.
Bypass switch bypasses the device.
Clip L and Clip R LEDs light when clipping happens.

Power consumption: +12V 18mA, -12V 15mA, 5V 0mA.
